Many older helmets were used for quite a few years before they hit the scrap heap.  The last player to use this helmet played the 1974-75 seasons before a knee injury ended his college career.  Lucky for all of us he was able to sneak it out of the locker room.  Sneak is a bad word, I am sure they would have wanted him to have it ;-)  Thanks again JB
