John Reaves 1971
(Game Worn)

This helmet was used by quarterback John Reaves in 1971. This was the only year in which he played for Florida that they wore a blue center stripe with white side stripes. The helmet is a "Wilson" suspension helmet coupled with the shorter version or "stubby" one bar face mask by "Riddell". At the rear of the helmet John's number "7" is displayed in the same shade of blue as the center stripe. The helmet is in its original game worn condition and you may notice that the team painted right over the exterior rivets of the helmet suggesting that the helmet had been worn prior to 1971 and had been reconditioned for that year.
