During the last four years of Coach Murray Warmath’s 18 year tenure, the Golden Gophers used this beautiful helmet style with the classic “M” logo.  This particular helmet worn by #56 Robert Eastlund.  The teams finished from 3^rd to 7^th in the Big Ten, and were led by several great players, including 1971 All-American End Doug Kingsriter.
