Helmet Hut has been in possession of this wonderful clear shell Macgregor helmet for years.  In our spare time we have been trying to hunt down who wore this shell and original OPO mask from the early 70s. (Note the lack of color code stamping on the mask) This mission has now been taken over by Matt Watson, Head Equipment manager at Texas A&M.  He is still in direct contact with Billy Pickard who was the trainer/equipment manager for the last 30+ years.  Matt contacted us a few  months ago to acquire several reproduction helmets for the equipment room.  Stay tuned for the latest on this helmet and photos from inside the Texas A&M facilities.
