This classic TK2 helmet was worn by Bob Jackson.  Over the last 4 decades it has managed to steer clear of reconditioners and restoration companies.  The most unique feature of this helmet was the striping process.  Riddell started with a white shell and tape off 3 inches right down the middle.  The helmet was then painted Oilers blue.  When the tape was removed it revealed a 3 inch wide white stripe.  The helmet was tape off again and the 3/4" red stripes were painted.  Then and only then could the classic Riddell and Kra-Lite stamps be applied.
