This classic Ram horn was not only worn by NC in the early 50's but also the 1949 LA Rams.  Neither of these teams created this now famous logo, it was one of Riddell's few  special helmet designs found in their catalog during the 1950's.  It was not a decal but a 3 step painting process.    All done by hand, no two were ever alike.
