Joe Theismann

Helmet Hut recently caught up with Joe Theismann at the College Football Hall of Fame where Joe was inducted as a member in December 2003.  Joe, pictured above with the son of a 1980s New Orleans Aint's fan, was eager to meet with us to discuss completing the missing pieces in his personal helmet collection.  Like many other former players Joe now has more time to reflect on his playing days and wishes that he kept more of his "stuff."  We are pleased to report that Joe was ecstatic to receive these Helmet Hut authentic reproductions of his Notre Dame, Toronto Argonaut (CFL) and 1982 Super Bowl helmets. "These are identical to the ones that I wore" Joe exclaimed when he received the helmets.  Joe joins a growing list of former Redskin quarterbacks, including Sammy Baugh, Sonny Jurgensen, George Izo and Dick Shiner, who we have had the pleasure of helping with their personal helmet collections. We would not be surprised to hear from Eddie LeBaron in the near future. After all, at Helmet Hut we proudly "Hail to the (former) Redskins."
