Eagles

1960 Game worn by MVP Bobby Walston

This is the same helmet Bobby Walston wore in the 1960 NFL championship game in which his eagles beat the Packers just prior to the start of the 1960's Packer dynasty. Bobby was a MVP, pro bowl player and league season points scoring leader during his lengthy career as an  offensive end and placement kicker for the eagles. After his retirement this helmet was passed on to  Frank Budd the former 1960 olympic medal winner who never achieved the gridiron success that was hoped for after his brilliant career on the cinder track. Notice that the two bar mask was installed for Mr. Budd. Bobby Walston was a "single bar only" man.
